Tip: This process can be deeply automated in your system to minimize manual steps, and therefore, this guide may vary depending on your automation setup.
Step 1: Open a property ticket
Navigate to the property where you want to add the container.
On the left-hand side, under the Actions panel, select Create Property Ticket.
3. Choose the ticket type for adding a container.
4. Select the container type you want to add.
5. (Optional) Fill out any additional fields relevant to your setup.
6. Add the applicable container fee — there are several configuration options depending on your environment.
7. Submit the ticket.
Step 2: Review the agreement
After submitting, the new container agreement will appear in the Property Overview — but the status will be showing as pending.
This means the ticket is not yet approved nor completed, and the container is not active and installed.
Step 3: Manage the ticket
Navigate to the Tickets tab/section of the property.
Find the newly created ticket - you can see who created it and when.
Click View to open the ticket details.
Review the Event Log for the ticket’s full history.
Verify that the ticket type confirms it is for adding a new container, and check all information for accuracy.
Step 4: Update ticket status and schedule on route
Change the ticket status from Created to Open. This can for example be done by the team or person the ticket was assigned to, when they are ready to work on it.
Schedule the ticket on a route — this assigns the task to a driver who will deliver and install the container at the property.
Once the driver completes the ticket, the status will update to Completed.
The container will then become active and fully visible in the Property Overview
You have now successfully added and activated a container on your property!
2. Bulk adding containers
For cases where you need to add multiple containers at once, you can streamline the process using an agreement template.
Go to Settings found in the top right corner.
Click on Customer management
Navigate to the Agreements section.
Click Create Agreement Template.
Configure all standard template details (e.g., Template name, Property type, multiple Container Products, ...) in the template to apply across the necessary properties. Add how many containers that need to be added to the property.
Once the Agreement template has been created, go to the properties page and click Add agreement template
This will then create tickets that need to be added to a route in order to allow the drivers to complete them. You can also bypass this by manually completing the tickets on the platform. Once complete, the containers will be added to the property.
