Setting up ticket automation and using scanner

Step 1: Configure Ticket Automation

Before using the Navigation App, make sure ticket automation is properly set up.

  1. Go to Settings on the platform

  2. Choose Tickets

  3. Find the desired ticket type

  4. Click "Ticket automation"

  5. Add an automation rule
    For example:

    • From: In Progress

    • To: Complete

  6. The system will prompt you to select container-related requirements
You can choose one or more of the following:

    • ✔️ Require container label printed
Ensures the label has been generated before completion.

    • ✔️ Require container barcode scanning
Requires users to scan the barcode physically attached to the container.

    • ✔️ Require RFID pairing
Ensures RFID tags are paired with the container before status change.

  7. Click "Save Changes" when you're done.

Step 2: Open and log in

  1. Open the Scanner app.

  2. Log in with the relevant email and password.

Step 3: Select project

  1. As a project selection appears, choose the correct project and tap Next.

Step 4: Vehicle selection

  1. When asked to Select a vehicle or Continue without a vehicle, choose the option you need.

    • For this example, tap Continue without vehicle.

Step 5: Open Tickets

  1. On the bottom navigation bar, tap Tickets.

  2. Adjust the filters and date range to match the ticket you’re working on.

  3. Confirm the ticket status is In Progress.

    • If it isn’t, set it to In Progress on the platform first - otherwise it will not appear after scanning.

  4. Tap the blue scan button to start scanning, then scan the ticket barcode you generated earlier.

  5. When the popup appears at the bottom with an Open button, tap Open to access the ticket.

Step 6: Scan container identifiers

  1. On the ticket screen, review the container info.

2. Pair the label and RFID:

  • Scan the printed container label.

  • Then scan the RFID tag for the same container.

  • This process links (pairs) the label with the RFID in the system.

    • Tip: If your scanner is set to use only one type (label or RFID), you will only need to scan that type.

Step 7: Complete the ticket

  1. After a successful scan, the system will register the action.

  2. Once all required scans are done, confirm the action and complete the ticket directly in the scanner.

  3. You should see a popup confirming the ticket has been completed.

Step 8: Verify on the platform

  1. To double-check, go to Platform → Tickets, and find the ticket you worked on to review the updates.
