Learn how to create and remove property group and shared containers

Updated over 4 months ago

Introduction

A property group is useful when several properties have shared agreements/ or containers. For example, if property A is sharing a residential waste container with properties B and C, you can add them to a property group and control the billing for the shared container.

Billing method

There are 2 different billing methods you can choose from:

  • Single: This means there will only be one main payer for all the shared agreements.

  • Split: This means all the properties will share the price of the share agreement.

Add a property group

  1. Go to 'Custmor management' in the left sidebar, and click on 'Property group.'

  2. On the top right corner, you can find the option to 'Add property group'

  3. Select the billing method and fill out the form.

  4. Once the property group is created, you can access its detail view and add properties.

Create shared agreement

  1. Go to 'Custmor management' in the left sidebar, and click on 'Property group.'

  2. You can see all the containers/agreements each property has. To Share a container/ agreement with the rest of the property in the group, switch on the 'Shared' option.

  3. You can now find the containers/agreements on each property's detail page.

    1. If the property group has the 'Single,' only the main property will have the price.

    2. If the property group has the 'Split,' you can see the shared price on each property's details view.

Remove property from the group

You must ensure the property has no shared container before you remove it from the group.

  1. Go to 'Custmor management' in the left sidebar, and click on 'Property group.'

  2. Ensure all the shared agreements and containers are disabled in the property group.

  3. To find the delete option, click on the more icon in the last table column of the property you want to delete.
