Introductions
You can both bulk-create and bulk-edit tickets in the WasteHero platform. There are some restrictions and rules for creating/editing certain ticket types with certain types of service.
Bulk-create container tickets
In the WasteHero platform, you can easily create a large number of tickets at once with just a few clicks. This feature can be found in (1) Tickets view (2) Properties view & (3) Containers view.
How?
In all the views you can find this feature to bulk-create tickets, you can follow the flows here:
Step 1 | Enter bulk create flow
Go to the previously mentioned views and find the "Create bulk container ticket" option.
Step 2 | Select containers
You can use filter and search functionality to find to containers you would like to create tickets for. You also have the choice to select containers from the table view or map view.
Step 3 | Select the ticket type and fill in the information
Select a ticket type and fill in the information. There are some ticket types that might be restricted based on your container selection. You can find more information in the next section.
Step 4 | Review and Complete
Before you submit the ticket, you can have a final review of all the details. As generating a huge amount of tickets might take some time in the system, the system will automatically run the operation in the background mode. It will run even if the webpage is closed. You can always find the progress and status in the Background jobs tab in Notification.
Restrictions
Creating tickets might concern billing and other limitations, therefore, here are some notes that help you when bulk-creating tickets.
Service types
In the table below, you can check for each service type on its criteria for container selection:
Service type | Waste fraction | Property type | Container type | Pickup setting |
Change container type | Need to be the same | Need to be the same | no restriction | Need to be the same |
Extra emptying | no restriction | no restriction | no restriction | no restriction |

You can easily edit a large number of tickets for either properties or containers at once with just a few clicks. This feature can be found in the tickets table, map, and Kanban views.
How?
You can go into the Ticket table, map, and Kanbe to select tickets you would like to edit. We highly recommend using the Kanban view for this purpose as you can easily select tickets that fit the requirements and avoid the restrictions.
Restriction
You must select tickets with the same ticket types that are in the same status. That is why the Kanban view is perfect for this job.
