Here is the step-by-step guide for you to install the WasteHero Navigation app on Android devices:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

  2. Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for "WasteHero Navigation". You can also find the link here.

  3. Once you find the app in the search results, tap on it to open the app's detail page.

  4. Tap the "Install" button. The app will begin downloading and automatically install on your device.


Enabling Automatic Updates

During the initial setup and ongoing use of our app, you may be prompted to grant certain permissions. These permissions allow the app to provide a richer, more integrated experience by utilizing various features of your device. It's important to allow these permissions when prompted to ensure full functionality of the app. Below is a list of permissions the app may request and the reasons why they are needed:

  1. Push Notifications: By enabling push notifications, you allow the app to send you alerts and updates directly to your device.

  2. Geolocation: The geolocation permission is crucial for navigation features within the app. It allows the app to provide route directions.

  3. Camera: Granting camera access is necessary for functionalities that involve attaching and uploading photos. This can be used for submitting photos as attachments and scanning QR codes.


Checking the App Version
