Learn how to set up a new role and permission and attach to a user.

Introduction

The role setting allows you to determine what action the user can perform in the system. This setting will also affect users' actions on the Navigation app. You could set up multiple roles and configure their permissions specifically based on each user's task and responsibility.


Create a role and set up permission

  1. Go to Settings β†’ User management β†’ Roles

  2. Select the '+' button on the list to the left

  3. Give this role a unique name

  4. Select permissions for this role.


Attaching the role to a user

  1. Go to Settings β†’ User management β†’ Users

  2. Select a user you would like to add/ change the role

  3. You can see the role-setting in the 'Basic' section.
